As we get further into the 21st century, we have to start thinking about what will happen to all our social media accounts when we die.
Luckily Facebook are ahead of the game and now have a new feature called “My Legacy Contact”.
This is where they give you two options:
Add a “Legacy” contact: You can choose one of your friends on Facebook to manage your account after you die and they’ll be able to update your profile and such but won’t be able to post as you or see you messages. Or:
Choose account deletion: You can choose to have you whole Facebook profile and all your details to be permanently deleted from Facebook when you die.
